PJ Bar and Grill in Medway

This is no doubt one of the most attractive place in the region. Whenever I go there I am greatly pleased. They preserve their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they serve. You are always happy with this place. Highly recommended.

The place offers a nice variety of delicious food. I loved eating here. The employees are always very kind, rates are fair and the spot is always neat.

So as a 12-year traveling salesman cover 7 states, this place is the BEST BBQ in New England!The brisket was tender, super flavorful, and the bark was insanely delicious, the ribs thick, meaty and charred perfectly. The dirty rice can stop your heart and the collards greens were super zesty but still smooth.Oh. The cornbread......um, I'm not saying I would trade one of my kids for endless cornbread, but if I was one of my children, I'd be a little nervous LOL! Ridiculously good 😍The girl on the phone was so friendly and patient, the girl running food out was also very friendly and super helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

Very juicy food. The food has great flavor and worth the little bit of over pricing. This meal was the choice of 2 meats and sides for $25.oo. But did feed 2 people and was good.

BEWARE! The "pumpkin croutons" are addictive! I found out what they were made of & I STILL went home and ate every crumb!!! So much for eating "healthy" by ordering a salad! It was a GREAT salad, huge size (more than I could eat). It took me 5-7 minutes just to cut it into bite size pieces (and I made a mess doing so). Sadly, many restaurants do this - skimp on their prep work to save $. When we got there, we were told there would be a 5 minute wait. Not sure why - since more than half the tables & booths were empty.

Who knew? Been there for over 2 years. Ocean State Job Lot a few doors away. Go to Job Lot al lot. Who knew. 5 🌟 definitely! Ribs smoked perfectly. Not falling off bone. Just right. Yum. All the sides excellent. And the location for us is 10 minutes away

Their smoked chicken wings through the roof!!! Never had a bad meal here!! Staff is very friendly too all around GREAT

It was fantastic, good food, polite servers and it's was a little after 1pm so it wasn't too busy, definitely quick service as well , the food did not tast like it was sitting around dispite it not being busy. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel at ease, I will be visiting this place quite often, oh don't forget the bar and the keno!

Great food. Great and friendly wait staff and bartenders, all around two thumbs up. So glad they are in my neighborhood

What immediately comes to mind is the 4% "customer service fee" they charge for using credit cards. They insult their customers intelligence by calling it a cash discount. Furthermore by calling it a customer service fee they make it sound like gratuity even though it is not. This is disrespectful to both customers and servers which is why I will not be going back. Fortunately there are literally hundreds of other restaurants that don't penalize their customers for using the preferred payment method of the 21st century. It's really a shame because up until we got the bill we had a great experience.

Place is phenomenal! Have visited PJ's about 5 times now and every single time has been great, from the service, to the food, even down to the way the place is designed inside!

The food was absolutely delicious! The smoke was perfect! The sauce was delicious! We got the Smoked Wings, Cran Apple Chicken Salad, Burnt Ends, Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Cornbread. The salad was perfect! Nothing was wilted, all fresh ingredients. The burnt ends and ribs were fantastic! Not too saucy, not too dry.

Ordered take out and I loved the smoked Turkey with two sides. But partner said Lone Star burger was just good.

The BBQ pulled pork had no BBQ sauce!! Super disapointed! But the fried pickles we're awsome👍

We have been coming here since they opened. Originally they were primarily barbecue but have modified their menu in The past few months due to town ordinances re outdoor smoker. The good news is the staff continues to be awesome- and the food is delicious. Specials every night, and veggie choices have expanded. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed short ribs and Cole slaw as well as corn bread. The sausage and collard greens were too spicy for me.

My first time in America and a friend took me to dinner here. I had never eaten Pork Belly before or Brisket. The flavour and texture was unbelievable, melt in the mouth meat that was just wonderful. I wish this place was in my home town, but perhaps its just as well it isn't as I would definitely pile on the pounds. To add to the meal, great IPA beers finished the night off. 👍

The food was *so* good!!!If you have the opportunity to try the stuffed mushrooms, dirty rice, pulled pork or corn bread, you will be so very happy.

Just had PJ’s fantastic Prime Rib dinner!! Nothing has changed w/curbside orders. Excellent food & service. Lov you guys😷

Had an amazing take out dinner tonight! Brisket, pulled pork sandwich, burger with sides...pig pile appetizer...all of it was simply delicious. So flavorful and tender meat....waited a long time on hold to place order, but it's mothers day and I'm sure they were inundated. It was well worth it!

They serve large portions and for affordable rates. very nice staff. Never disappointing.

Definitely the best BBQ in the area. It’s authentic BBQ from the actual food to the atmosphere. They do a wonderful job here. All of the food is delicious and high quality bbq. If you really want some good, real bbq, this is the place to go. Have yet to find another BBQ place in the area with this quality!

This place is worth visiting. They have big portions for fair prices. Regularly neat and with good vibes. Will come visit again.

The food is fantastic! Great flavors! Perfect comfort food. Great for kids!Edit: not very nice to charge a 4% credit card fee. Change your prices, not intentionally charge your customers. Typically it's posted at the door about this sort of charge in other establishments but here it was included with our check at the end of our dining which ruined the entire experience. We usually go once a week since this was my favorite restaurant. But now I will not be back until this is changed. Yes they do have an ATM inside which also charges a service fee.

Delicious food! Loved the pulled pork, the Mac and Cheese and the Smoked Wings. Definitely a great local barbecue place, but comes with a little bit of a price tag.

UPDATE Winter 2019: PJS is now charging customers 4% to use credit cards. This is amusing because the average credit card fee is about 3% (stripe/square). This policy is not told to the customer until the customer receives their bill. They have an atm at the entrance that will gladly charge you a $4+ service fee to use.This is an abhorrent practice that is anti-customer in every way. Shameful that the owners thought this was a good idea and decide to hide it until the bill arrives. Will no longer be a customer.---------------------Excellent everything I tried. Brisket was juicy and packed with flavor. Daughter loved the Mac and cheese and the kids pasta. Pulled pork was fantastic, and I can't remember ever having better tasting tater tots in my life.Ribs were very good, I just happened to get an end piece that was very barky, but still very flavorful. Definitely order the corn bread grilled!

Pjs Smoke and Grill is a very good place to go and eat. A little pricey but worth it. Great service and good food. I had a meat platter Brisket and Turkey with Dirty Rice and Mixed Veggies. I had Garlic Parmesan Wings for and Appetizer. Great Atmosphere like being down south.

I went here today with my dad and they were giving away a meal all day to any veteran. Which is so nice. My dad had the smoked sausage sub and he loved it, I had the smoked pastrami sandwich and enjoyed every bite of it. highly recommend.

This place is great! Staff was very friendly and the food is just amazing. I usually ask for my meat well-done and I actually got one! I'll definitely come back. Steak tips and chicken wings, here I come!

A touch of the South right here in New England. These guys got it going on with the smoking and the Q. The bbq sauces are delicious as well... choice of 4! Full bar, excellent service( thank you Erica barperson)superb bbq.

PJs is underrated and underappreciated, in my opinion, because it was nearly empty when my friends and I went for wings. The setup in the parking lot helps if you don't want to be inside during the Covid-pandemic, and if you can get one of the tables under the roof, you are safe from rain. The wings are great, especially the smoked variety, and the beer is fresh and cold. One of the few places in the area that we don't want to lose.

Would absolutely recommend trying out this place. Fantastic character, fresh dishes, fantastic service. Keep up the good work.

Just ordered takeout for the very 1st time from here. Ordered 4 meals for my family as well as apps & everything was excellent!!

Great quality food, doesn't disappoint, would have given 5 stars, however recently did take out and was unfortunately disappointed that my ordered Logan's Melt was packed without the au jus dip, didn't discover this until I got home, alas

My favorite BBQ in the area. The smoked turkey is my wife's favorite! I go for the brisket, Ribs and pulled pork. Cornbread, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese are all excellent.

Very good food and reasonably priced too. The prime rib is generous and the wings are flavourful too. Recommend the sweet potato toots and wings with the Sweet Q

This is an Edit. Went back to get sandwiches after at least 6 months of not going and a horrible mistake was made. Dry pork sandwichs which were somehow soggy. Maybe due to the terrible tasting cheese we didn't ask for oh well. and I guess BBQ sauce means no BBQ sauce right? Also are the fries out for days at a time before being heated up in the microwave? You people have no clue what a good meal is and I wish I didn't make such a mistake. Oh 3.99 percent service fee is to funny. Sad you gotta tell customers that they should be paying cash to save. Sounds a bit sketchy to me.

Great food. The Barn Burger was a real Barnburner of spice. The steak tips Mac and cheese was amazing.

I visit this unique place once a month as I like the good air that is characterizes this place. The crew is awfuly friendly and experienced. The service is absolutely efficient. Not to mention, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I came often and I was always pleased. The price is decent. I highly recommend this restaurant to to all.

Another local favorite with absolutely amazing food done right! The ribs are lip smacking AMAZING and the wings are tender, flavorful and huge! AWESOME potato wedges in place of fries... consistently great food everytime, be it dine in or take out. Worth the price for food like this!

This was delicious. The Hangover Burger and The Dalton Burger are delicious. Desert never lets down. Been twice once the opening week and now. It's delicious. Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding was a special and the waffle desert is delicious too. Smoke House feel is great and cooked to liking. Will keep coming here.
